Virgin Group, the UK conglomerate, is aiming to float Virgin Mobile USA, its joint venture with US telecoms company Sprint, after floating two other businesses in the past year.

Virgin and Sprint formed the company in October 2001 to offer pay-as-you-go mobile services under the Virgin Mobile brand using Sprint's network.
