Vision Capital, a private equity firm that specialises in purchasing groups of companies from buyout firms, has shifted its investment strategy to focus on private debt investments amid a change in dealflow.

The firm has set up a credit arm that will provide financing for European and US private equity funds whose investment periods have ended, it said.
