The London Stock Exchange has warned IPO candidates that a US listing could prove expensive as the bourse steps up its campaign to attract more floats.

In a document shared with bankers and IPO hopefuls, seen by Financial News, the LSE said underwriting fees for US listings can be more than double those levied by advisers in the UK.
