Berkshire Hathaway's Buffett has prostate cancer

The 81-year-old Sage of Omaha says his condition is not remotely life threatening or debilitating

Berkshire Hathaway chief executive Warren Buffett has prostate cancer, he said in a letter to shareholders posted on the company's website yesterday afternoon.

Buffett, 81 years old, said in the letter that he has stage-1 prostate cancer and was told by his doctors that "my condition is not remotely life threatening or even debilitating in any meaningful way."
