Concordia Advisors, a global hedge fund with $2bn (€1.6bn) under management, has hired Mickey Warrender as director of institutional investor relations, in an effort to grow its institutional business.

In this newly created role, Warrender will be responsible for enhancing Concordia's business in Europe and further developing their provision of absolute return market neutral fund management to institutional investors. He will report to chief operating officer Sean Manns, who is based in New York.
