Watchword is caution for UBS Triton

UK property fund is finding tenant demand for offices weak but sees opportunities

The UBS Triton Property fund has always been picky about the real estate it is prepared to buy. And, now, it is pickier than ever.

Fund manager Richard Tanner says: "Yields are not screamingly cheap or expensive. But tenant demand has weakened. It's hard to avoid concluding that we're returning to the type of market of the 1940s and 1950s."
