Watson Wyatt moves to performance related fees

Watson Wyatt, the UK's largest investment consulting firm, will this week start a fundamental shift in the industry by taking full responsibility for clients' investment decisions and charging performance-related fees in return.

Other large consulting firms are moving in the same direction. They hope, in time, that the move will significantly increase their revenues, as pension schemes value their advice more highly.
