Hermann Watzinger, who ran the European securitisation business at Merrill Lynch, has joined ABN Amro to run its German financial markets division.

Watzinger, who headed Merrill's European securitisation and portfolio credit derivatives teams in London, will join ABN Amro's Frankfurt office in October.
