‘We blew it’: fintech gender pay gap worse than investment banks

The gender pay gap at the UK’s top fintech companies is worse than the pay disparity between men and women in investment banking, a sector notorious for diversity shortcomings, analysis by Financial News can reveal.

The numbers jar with the fintech industry’s disruptive image, as the handful of companies large enough to file figures reported an average median gender pay gap of 31.54% last year.
