European Union leaders have agreed a three-month extension to the UK’s Brexit deadline — cuing another round of pleas from City leaders to resolve the country’s political paralysis.
The extension of Brexit Day until January 31 2020, following a request made under legal duress by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, was confirmed by European Council president Donald Tusk in a tweet on October 28.
