A major London IPO has been cancelled because of "extreme investor caution" in another blow to the City's capital markets.

WE Soda, which produces the natural soda ash used in glass making, has decided to pull its planned unveiled last week, saying that "investors, particularly in the UK, remain extremely cautious about the IPO market".
