Webb joins Qatar regulator

A former chairman of the New Zealand Securities Commission has been appointed managing director for financial sector development and policy by the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority. He is the sixth appointment for the authority in two months.

Michael Webb had been chairman of the Task Force on financial intermediaries which was set up by the New Zealand government in 2004.
