Weil, Gotshal & Manges is to build a global cross-border tax team in Frankfurt to work with its M&A, capital markets and structured finance practices.

Tobias Geerling has been hired from the Dusseldorf branch of Clifford Chance, where he was head of the office's tax practice, to help build the team which will work alongside a number of departments.
