Weild quits as Nasdaq vice chairman

David Weild, vice chairman and head of the corporate client group at Nasdaq, has resigned from the firm in the latest senior staff change following the hire of Robert Greifeld as chief executive earlier this month.

Greifeld, a former executive vice-president at SunGard, a financial IT firm, was hired to replace Wick Simmons, who had said in December 2002 that he would retire this year after a successor had been found.
