Investment management firm Wellington Management has hired Natasha Brook-Walters from RBC Capital Markets, as the buy-side continues to pick off bankers from the sell-side. The former London-based global head of macro FX sales joined Wellington Management as a portfolio manager this month, according to the Financial Services Register. The Cambridge economics graduate had worked at the Canadian bank for four years and was a managing director by the time she left in December. Brook-Walters declined to comment; Wellington Management did not respond to requests for comment. Buy-side institutions are busy picking off talent from large investment banks. Financial News reported that hedge fund Brevan Howard in London has recently hired two former traders, Richard Oliver and Neilan Govender, from Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, respectively.
