The £2bn ($2.86bn) bond issue for Glas Cymru was 25% oversubscribed, according to sources involved in the transaction.

The bonds, which are being issued to finance the acquisition of Welsh Water (Dwr Cymru) by Glas, will price during the morning in London on Wednesday. The order book closed 24 hours earlier.
