Wendel lines up new chief executive

Listed French investment company Wendel, which wiped out five yeas of growth in December by writing down the value of its assets to 2003 levels, has reportedly appointed a new chief executive.

Frederic Lemoine, the chairman at French nuclear energy group Areva, is going to become chief executive at Wendel, according to Reuters, which cited an article in Le Figaro, the French newspaper.
