WestAM, the asset management arm of Germany's WestLB, has hired Philip Chow as head of UK and global spread product, completing its recruitment drive for the global fixed income and currencies team in London.

Chow joins from Threadneedle Asset Management, where he worked for six years and was responsible for non-government bond analysis and management. At WestAM, he will report to Nigel Jenkins, head of the global fixed income and currencies team.
