Embattled wealth manager and financial adviser WH Ireland is giving up the lease on its Henley office to “reduce its cost base” as it fights to return to profitability.

WH Ireland will exit the famous riverside town by the end of May, focussing its wealth offering on London, Manchester and Poole, it said in a stock market announcement on 10 February.
