Countries all around the world are banning flights from the UK over fears of a new strain of coronavirus, which Prime Minister Boris Johnson said could be up to 70% more transmissible than other strains.

France suspended all travel links, including freight lorries, with the UK for 48 hours from midnight on Sunday, which is set to cause severe disruption to food and medicine supplies.
