The Fifty Most Influential Lawyers list saw new entries from Sabina Comis, global managing partner at Dechert; Philip Bowden, co-head of the global banking practice at Allen & Overy; and Gavin Davies, global head of M&A at Herbert Smith Freehills.
FN’s Fifty Most Influential in Sustainable Finance also saw a host of fresh entries, reflecting the growth of the sector. New names to appear on the ranking include Clara Barby, senior partner at Just Climate; John McCalla-Leacy, global head of ESG and UK vice-chair at KPMG; and Jane Goodland, group head of sustainability at the London Stock Exchange Group.
Our flagship 100 Most Influential Women in Finance, published every year in October, featured 27 new entrants, reflecting the changing landscape of the finance sector as females take on more positions of power amid high-profile acquisitions like UBS's takeover of Credit Suisse.
Michelle Bereaux, group head of integration, and Bea Martin, head non-core and legacy, president Emea and UK chief executive, are two women who have key roles as UBS takes over its former rival.
