Some of the world’s top hedge fund managers moved to Switzerland in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, drawn by lower tax rates that helped the country build a strong position in Europe and the world.

More than a decade down the line and that picture has started to change. Rising competition from the Middle East and Asia is making it difficult for Switzerland to retain its allure to hedge fund managers.
