The departure of Scottish Widows' head of strategy Robin Garrow has been fixed at the end of the month, when the merger of its investment division with Hill Samuel Asset Management (HSAM) will be formalised.

Garrow is leaving following the appointment of HSAM's Andrew November as head of strategy for the combined organisation. November will also retain an investment management role.
