William Blair International, a Chicago-based investment bank, has hired a new head of European financial sponsors coverage, as the firm seeks to build on its position in Europe.

Stewart Licudi joins the bank with 11 years of private equity experience working within Lloyds Development Capital and 3i. He has also served as a non-executive director at several companies, including broadcasting engineering business Pro-Bel and Prologic, a software design house.
