Willis Towers Watson has opened a fund management operations unit in Cork, a move that will bring 40 new jobs to a city that is marketing itself to financial firms following the UK’s Brexit vote.

The global financial services giant, which has been bolstering its pension fund advice service with asset management capabilities over the last decade, launched a managed funds platform domiciled in Ireland this week.
