The Stewardship Code has been in place since 2010. Over the past five years, we have been pleased to see that the quality and quantity of investor monitoring and engagement has improved.

However, we are told that the improvements are not consistent across the market and that more should be done to promote better quality reporting of stewardship; to enable clients and others better to differentiate on the basis of stewardship philosophy and activity.
