European initial public offering markets have been boosted by the flotation of Wincor Nixdorf, the German cash machine maker and the decision by Halfords to push ahead with the UK's second largest flotation this year. Both issues come amid volatile equity markets which last week hit six-week lows.
Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs were joint bookrunners for Wincor Nixdorf, which has raised €328m ($394m) as the largest German flotation for five years.
