Wind energy company hires from HSBC

The head of energy at HSBC in the US has reportedly left to join a wind power developer, as finance firms actively recruit senior bankers for the sector.

New York-based Noble Environmental Power recruited Chris Lowe to be its chief financial officer, according to SparkSpread, the online energy news service. Previously Lowe was the managing director and co-head of energy and utilities investment banking for the Americas at HSBC.
