Fine wines have outperformed the top 3000 US stocks over the last 13 years, according to a new report from Philippe Masset and Jean-Philippe Weisskopf, two Switzerland-based economists who compared Premier Cru vintage wines with the Russell 3000 Index between January 1996 and January 2009.
