Winton Capital, one of the UK's 10 largest hedge fund managers with $8bn (€6.2bn) of assets under management, is the latest to consider floating a single-manager fund.
It is chasing rival Brevan Howard to become the fifth group to list such a fund. Brevan Howard, with $13bn of assets under management, is planning to float a fund within months and is considering listing the firm, according to bankers.
