Winton hires new business manager from rival

Winton Capital Management, a London-based hedge fund, has hired Duncan Brown from rival commodity trading adviser Quality Capital Management (QCM).

Brown has joined in a new role as new business development manager. He will report to David Harding, one of the founders of Winton. Harding, a co-founder of managed futures group Adam Harding & Lueck in 1987, teamed up with Osman Murgian and Martin Hunt, to set up Winton in 1997.
