Wizard Partners, the Italian private equity firm, has hired Francesco Noseda as managing partner to head up its new Paris office, following in the tracks of Candover and Electra Partners which both expanded their French teams in October.
Luigi Maniglio, who founded Wizard Partners last year, said that the French office was in place to manage the firm's strategy to buy and build a chain of 50 hotels in France over the next five years. "We currently have 10 property deals under negotiation, which we anticipate closing within the next few weeks," he said.
