The organisation behind The People’s Pension — one of the largest private sector pension schemes in the UK — has appointed a new chief investment officer.

Nico Aspinall has taken on the role at B&CE, which has run retirement money for 30 years and in 2011 launched The People's Pension as a separate defined contribution scheme open to all UK employers.
