Shareholders: WPP 'not off the hook' on Sorrell's pay

Ad agency's AGM ranks as one of the top five for dissent this year, with a quarter of investors expressing disapproval

WPP may have partially quelled an investor rebellion over its chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell's £18m pay package yesterday, but the advertising group still gained an unenviable top five placing in the year's most troubled AGMs.

And some shareholders have warned the firm it is "not off the hook" yet.
