LifeSight, a £3bn pension fund run by consultancy Willis Towers Watson, has named a former Aon director as head of sales, as the firm looks to grow in the rapidly expanding defined contribution pension market.

Milan Makhecha, who worked at Aon for 17 years, latterly as a principal, will lead the sales and business development team at LifeSight, according to an announcement on January 3.
