Wyatt leaves SSSB after 23 years

Richard Wyatt, the chairman of equity capital markets and deputy head of equities at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB), is leaving the bank after 23 years in the equities markets.

Wyatt was head of equities at Schroders, the UK investment bank, before it was bought by Citigroup. Last October he took over the bank's push into corporate broking when SSSB combined its broking team with equity capital markets, led by Michael Lavelle. It is understood that he is taking a long break from investment banking before deciding on his next step. Wyatt leaves on Tuesday.
