XTX Markets boosted awards for top staff to an average of nearly £20m last year as the algorithmic trading firm cemented its position as one of Britain’s most profitable private companies.

The 31 members of the London-based firm’s limited liability partnership shared in a profit pool of £1.3bn in 2024, up 71% from £747m a year earlier, according to newly published registry filings for XTX Research LLP.
