Zaoui brothers’ revenues tick up ahead of megadeal roles

Profits of £2.8m largely in line with the previous 12 months, marks the third consecutive year in the black for the Mayfair-based boutique headed by brothers Michael and Yoël Zaoui

The dealmaking boutique run by the high-profile investment bankers the Zaoui brothers saw UK revenues tick up ahead of an active period for the firm, which has seen it work on some of the biggest European deals throughout the pandemic.

Zaoui & Co posted revenues of around £9.1m for 2019, according to accounts filed on 5 January, an increase of 6% on the previous year. Profits were £2.8m, which was largely in line with the previous 12 months, and marks the third consecutive year in the black for the Mayfair-based boutique headed by brothers Michael and Yoël Zaoui after it slid to a £1.3m loss in 2016.
