Zurich Capital Markets has launched a family of hedge fund indices and related investable portfolios. The industry standard Zurich Hedge Fund Indices and the Zurich Institutional Benchmark Series, Zurich's hedge fund product, will form Zurich's asset management base built on a capital markets platform.

Zurich's hedge fund effort will be boosted by the acquisition last week of the alternative investment fund databases from Managed Account Reports (MAR).
