Emerging markets have come in for a rough ride in the past three months, but Zurich Scudder is beefing up its presence in the asset class.
The investment firm has underlined its desire to make a mark in emerging markets this side of the Atlantic with its second hire in two months. Paul Murray John, who heads the firm's emerging market business, has brought in Igor Ojereliev to take on the dual role of portfolio manager and analyst on the emerging market bond team, specialising in Eastern Europe.
