A&O Shearman structured finance partner John Goldfinch, who resigned in September following a drink-driving conviction, has been rebuked by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

According to a 5 November notice from the regulator, Goldfinch was arrested in April after colliding with an unattended parked vehicle. He was nearly three times over the legal limit for consuming alcohol after taking a breathalyser test.
