The UK arm of independent advisory firm Greenhill & Co more than doubled its profits last year, according to its latest accounts, published as its parent group undergoes a recapitalisation.

Mayfair-based Greenhill & Co International's results for 2016 were logged with the UK's Companies House on October 2. They showed a 75% rise in revenues from a year earlier to £60m, and profits of £42.4m, up from £17.8m in 2015.
