French fund house Amundi's assets under management hit €1.4tn at the end of the third quarter, boosted by the integration of Pioneer Investments at the start of the period and strong inflows through the combined entity.
The acquisition of the business previously owned by Italian bank Unicredit meant that Amundi's assets were up 25% from the end of the second quarter, according to results published today, and had risen by almost a third since the end of the third quarter of 2016.
