Brewin Dolphin, the UK wealth manager, has named the former chief executive of Scottish Widows as it next chair.

Toby Strauss, who is currently non-executive director of Legal & General as well as chair of Pacific Life, will succeed Simon Miller in the boardroom role when he steps down at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in February 2021. Miller has been on the Brewin Dolphin board since 2005, and became chair in 2013.
