Senior figures in the City of London are losing patience with UK Prime Minister Theresa May, following reports in The Times that a growing band of MPs is seeking to remove her from power.

Pressure has been mounting on May since her party failed to win an outright majority in a snap general election in June, which had widely been expected to help the Conservatives consolidate their grip in parliament and strengthen their hand in Brexit negotiations.
