UBS taps Citi in broking merry-go-round

The Swiss bank has hired a former co-head of UK banking and corporate broking at Citigroup to work alongside the head of its own team

UBS has hired a former co-head of UK banking and corporate broking at Citigroup to work alongside the head of its own corporate broking team. The move continues a game of musical chairs in the sector that began in February.

David James, who has spent 15 years at Citi and was most recently a vice-chairman in its banking business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will join UBS in September, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
