EY dealmaker: ‘All of private equity is looking at our industry’

The comments come as buyout shops look to deploy billions of dollars snapping up firms across professional services

A swathe of private equity firms are eyeing further deals in the professional services space, according to one of EY’s most senior figures.

“All of private equity, especially the big names, are looking at us as an industry because we have grown so vastly over the last 20 years and you can clearly see our portfolio has become very complex,” Andrea Guerzoni, EY’s global vice-chair of strategy and transactions, told Financial News’s sister title Private Equity News.
