The Financial Conduct Authority has hit hedge fund mogul Crispin Odey with a warning notice, claiming he deliberately impeded an investigation into his alleged misconduct.

Odey, a politically connected investor known for his bullish bets around Brexit and the pound, hit the headlines last year when a host of women came forward with sexual assault allegations that he denies.
