The Financial Conduct Authority is looking to spend up to £8m on a new framework to secure the best talent for top positions at the watchdog.

The regulator wants help in identifying candidates to shortlist for senior roles, ranging from heads of department and directors to non-executives and panel members, according to a notice published on its contract portal.
