Lloyds Banking Group has lifted the cap on senior banker bonuses to eight times salary as large firms continue to overhaul their compensation structures for UK employees.

The UK lender has scrapped a long-standing limit on banker bonuses, with its remuneration committee approving an 8:1 ratio for variable compensation for its so-called material risk-takers. It will be applied to 2024 compensation and beyond.
